On listening to which words of Satish Kaushik did pregnant Neena Gupta cry that day?

Rajiv Singh says that Satish Kaushik has done many such films with Govinda which you will not be able to stop laughing while watching. In the 90s, he also did such films in which he played the role of father sometimes. Looking at his career, we find him playing different roles in the industry. An artist can be recognized only when he can play different characters well.

However, after playing all kinds of characters, he found that people are liking his comedy very much. Actually he got recognition only in 1987. At that time his film came Mr. India and in this film, he was in a calendar role and people loved this character fiercely.

After this film, he became Bollywood’s new choice for supporting roles. One thing must be noted here that most of the actors avoid taking supporting roles for the dream of becoming a hero, but Satish took it as a challenge and there are many such hero characters which we do not remember. But the character of Satish Kaushik cannot be forgotten.

Swati said that I had met him once during my college days. Satish was a very pleasant person. I have always been inspired by him. No one can teach better than Satish ji to put donation in every role. I recently saw his film ‘Chhatriwali’ released on OTT. Even though Satish Kaushik was seen in a comedy role on the screen. But in real life, I found him to be a very serious and settled person. I have seen many of his interviews.

Satish Kaushik is no more 

Veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik, who brought smile on everyone’s face with his acting, is no more in this world. His sudden death has shocked everyone. It was 24 hours before this sad news when he was playing Holi with his friends. He shared a picture on his Instagram yesterday with well-known Bollywood writer Javed Akhtar and actresses Mahima Chaudhary, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal. In that picture he was playing Holi. No one would have thought that wishing his fans on the occasion of Holi would become his last post. 

Due to sudden departure of Satish, his family, fans and entire Bollywood have got a deep shock. Many people are not even able to believe that the veteran artist is no longer with us.  

Who was Satish Kaushik 

Satish Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956. He has done many Bollywood films. Apart from this, he was also a producer, comedian and screenwriter. He did his graduation from Kirori Mal College and later he studied at the National School of Drama. Although Koshik has done many such films in which his acting has brought a smile on the face of people, but famous films like Ram Lakhan, Saajan Chale Sasural, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and Mr. India gave him recognition. 

Bollywood is in mourning 

Sudden death of Satish has brought a wave of mourning all over Bollywood. Condoling his death, Bollywood actor Anupam Kher tweeted, "Death is the ultimate truth of this world. But I had not thought even in my dreams that I would write this about my best friend Satish Kaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on friendship of 45 years! Life will never be the same without you, Om Shanti!"

When Satish wanted to marry Neena Gupta 

Neena Gupta launched her biography titled ‘Sach Kahun To’ in 2021, in which she has made some big revelations about her personal life. In her autobiography, the actress also mentioned her friendship with late actor Satish Kaushik and revealed that he had offered to marry her.

Actually, Satish Kaushik and Neena Gupta were friends. Neena was going through a very difficult time when this story was shared. Neena was pregnant with cricketer Viv Richards’ child Masaba and was taunted by the society for being pregnant out of wedlock. 

At that time Nina had fallen completely alone. In such a situation, Satish Kaushik had talked about marrying her. Like a good friend, he didn’t want Nina to feel alone. Satish had told Neena while offering marriage "Don’t worry, if the child is born with black skin, you can say it’s mine and we’ll get married. No one would suspect anything. However, the actress turned down his proposal and decided to become a single mother. 

In an interview with Bombay Times, Satish Kaushik also spoke on the reasons behind proposing to marry Neena Gupta. They said, "I appreciate that at that time a girl decided to have a child outside marriage. I just wanted to assure her that being a true friend, I will stand by her no matter what.  He said that I was worried that I should not let him feel alone. After all, that’s what friends are for. 

Satish also told in that interview that when he proposed marriage to Nina Gupta, tears started flowing in Nina’s eyes. Satish told that I told him, "I am there, why do you worry. 

Masoom started her film journey 

 
He made his directorial debut with the film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’. Gradually, Satish started bringing smiles on people’s faces with his acting in many films. 

The accident that left Satish broken 

Year 1990, Satish Kaushik’s son Sanu had passed away. He was only two years old. The sudden  death of the son had broken Satish. This accident had such an impact on him that he started living alone. He started keeping himself busy throughout the day. Satish’s daughter Vanshika was born through surrogacy in the year 2012, 16 years after the son’s death. On this occasion, Satish had  said, ‘The birth of our daughter marks the end of our long and painful wait for a child.’
